About Rolfing
Rolfing® Structural Integration is a method that involves the manipulation of deep tissue and movement education to achieve a well aligned body in gravity.
This technique is named after Dr Ida Rolf, an American biochemist, and is designed to address patterns and tension that may have arisen from trauma, work demands, or prolonged postural habits.
Rolfing® adopts a systematic approach called the 'Ten Series' to treat the entire structure of the body. The benefits of Rolfing® include improved posture, flexibility, range of movement, and pain management for acute and chronic pain resulting from past injuries.

Rolfing® has a positive affect on the mind, with clients able to better manage difficult situations and have an ability to display their inner selves more confidently. Clients re-learn how to feel and experience their body questioning, how do I sit? how do I stand? how does my body react when I'm stressed? This new perception helps to eliminate old movement habits.

It is important to note Rolfing is distinct from other therapies like massage, deep tissue work, chiropractic or osteopathy although clients often arrive with similar physical symptoms.
